Last Updated: April 24, 2026
Organization: Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP)
Document Purpose: Policy for the TRDP Attendance Monitoring System mobile application and related services, including Google AdMob banner and interstitial advertising.
This document explains what information the app handles, how it is used, how long it may be retained, how third-party services are involved, how advertising and AdMob-related data may be processed, and how users may submit privacy-related requests.
Overview
This Privacy Policy is tailored to the functional scope of the TRDP Attendance Monitoring System, including sign-in, role-based access, device approval, attendance, leave management, notifications, optional weather and prayer-time features, administrative review functions, and advertising through Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads.
It should be published on TRDP’s official website and linked inside the app and in the Google Play Console app listing. Before public release, TRDP should update any missing public contact email, deletion webpage, Google Play Data Safety declarations, AdMob account details, or implementation-specific details that may change during production rollout.
Who We Are
Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP) operates the TRDP Attendance Monitoring System (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how TRDP collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information processed through the App when employees, supervisors, administrators, and other authorized users access and use it.

Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the TRDP Attendance Monitoring System mobile application and related backend services used for attendance management, leave administration, notifications, supervisory review, administrative reporting, and advertisement display through Google AdMob.
The App is intended for internal organizational use by authorized staff and approved users only. The App is not designed for children and is not intended to target children as an audience.
Information We Collect
Depending on your role and how you use the App, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account and identity information, including your name, email address, employee-linked user ID, designation, reporting information, assigned office or location, and role within the system.
Device and technical information, including device identifier, app installation identifier, device model information submitted for approval flows, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, Advertising ID where applicable, App Set ID where applicable, and limited diagnostic or security information needed to operate, secure, and improve the App.
Attendance information, including date, check-in and check-out time, attendance status, assigned location or geofence reference, device-linked validation details, and server-side timestamps.
Location information, including precise or approximate device location when needed for attendance verification and optional location-based convenience features.
Leave management information, including leave type, dates, reason, alternate arrangement details, contact address or phone information submitted through leave forms, and approval or rejection decisions.
Administrative and security records, including device approval requests, account deletion requests, audit logs, and role-based administrative actions.
Advertising and AdMob-related information, which may include IP address, general location inferred from IP address, Advertising ID or other device identifiers where applicable, app interaction information such as ad views, taps, impressions, app launches, and limited diagnostic information related to ad delivery, SDK performance, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention.
How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you sign in, use attendance functions, submit leave requests, or submit privacy-related requests.
We collect some information automatically from your device when you use the App.
We may also receive organizational profile and access-control information from authorized administrators who configure employee records, reporting lines, and location assignments.
Where the App displays advertisements, Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process certain device, interaction, diagnostic, and identifier data for advertising, analytics, ad measurement, and fraud prevention purposes.
How We Use Information
We use personal and technical information to authenticate users, manage access, approve trusted devices, record attendance and leave transactions, verify attendance against approved locations, generate dashboards and reports, send notifications, maintain audit trails, and protect the App from misuse, fraud, spoofing, or unauthorized access.
We also use information to meet internal administrative, compliance, legal, and recordkeeping requirements where applicable.
Where advertisements are enabled, AdMob-related information may be used to load and display banner ads and interstitial ads, measure ad performance, prevent invalid traffic, detect fraud or abuse, improve ad delivery, and support Google Play and AdMob policy compliance.
How Location Data Is Used
Location data is used primarily for attendance-related functions. The App may compare your device location with approved workplace geofences or assigned locations to determine whether check-in or check-out occurs at an authorized place.
If you use optional weather or prayer-time features, the App may also use location to determine local weather information, city-level context, and prayer timings.
The App does not use precise attendance location data to personally target advertisements. However, Google AdMob may process IP address and related technical information to estimate general location for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention purposes.
Advertising, AdMob, and Ad Formats
The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. These may include:
- Banner ads: advertisements displayed within part of the app screen.
- Interstitial ads: full-screen advertisements displayed at natural transition points in the app experience, such as after completing a task, between screens, or at other appropriate breaks.
TRDP will aim to place advertisements in a way that does not mislead users, does not interfere with core attendance or leave functions, and does not encourage accidental clicks.
Interstitial ads should not be displayed in a way that blocks urgent operational use, appears unexpectedly during critical attendance submission, or prevents users from accessing required work-related functions. Users should be able to close an interstitial ad and return to the App experience in accordance with Google AdMob requirements.
Personalized and Non-Personalized Ads
Google AdMob may use device identifiers, Advertising ID, app activity, interaction data, diagnostic data, and general location signals to deliver, measure, and improve advertisements.
Depending on the user’s device settings, applicable law, Google consent requirements, and AdMob configuration, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
Users may be able to reset or delete their Android Advertising ID through Android device settings. If the Advertising ID is reset or deleted, ad personalization and measurement may be limited according to Android and Google Play services behavior.
Where required by applicable law or Google policy, the App should implement appropriate consent, privacy, or ad preference mechanisms before serving personalized ads.
Third-Party Services and Sharing
TRDP does not sell personal information. We may share or process data with service providers and platforms necessary to operate the App.
The App uses Google and Firebase services for authentication, cloud database operations, notification delivery, account/session support, analytics or diagnostics where enabled, and advertisement delivery through Google AdMob.
If you sign in with Google, authentication information is processed through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.
If advertisements are enabled, the App uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google may collect and process information such as IP address, Advertising ID, App Set ID, user product interactions, ad interactions, diagnostic information, and other device or account identifiers where applicable. Such processing may be used for advertising, analytics, ad measurement, fraud prevention, security, and service improvement.
If you use optional weather or prayer-time features, the App may send location coordinates to OpenWeather for weather information and to Aladhan for prayer-time information.
The App may also use Android or platform geocoding/location services to derive city-level information from device coordinates where required for functionality.
Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms, including Google’s Privacy Policy, Google Play policies, Google AdMob policies, and Firebase terms.
Google Play Data Safety and Advertising ID Disclosure
Because the App may use Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK, TRDP should ensure that the Google Play Console Data Safety form accurately reflects the App’s actual data collection, sharing, security, and retention practices.
The Data Safety declaration should consider both TRDP-controlled app data and data collected or shared through third-party SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads SDK and Firebase.
If the App targets Android versions that require Advertising ID permission declaration and the Advertising ID is used for ads, analytics, or measurement, the Android manifest and Google Play Console declarations should be updated accordingly.
The App’s Google Play listing should include a valid Privacy Policy URL, and the same or a consistent policy should be accessible inside the App.
Children and Families Policy
The App is intended for internal organizational use by authorized staff and approved users. It is not directed to children and is not designed as a child-focused or family-targeted app.
If TRDP later changes the App’s target audience to include children, or if the App is submitted under Google Play’s Families program, TRDP must review and implement the applicable Google Play Families and AdMob requirements before serving ads, including child-directed treatment settings, eligible ad sources, age-appropriate content, and restrictions on identifiers for children or users of unknown age.
Legal and Organizational Basis for Use
TRDP processes information for legitimate organizational purposes, including attendance administration, leave management, supervision, reporting, access control, internal security, audit support, and operational management.
Where advertising is enabled, TRDP and its advertising service provider may process certain information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and monetization, subject to applicable law, user settings, consent requirements, and Google policies.
Data Retention
TRDP retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for organizational, operational, legal, security, and audit purposes.
Account and device-related information may be retained while access remains active. Attendance and leave records may be retained for organizational records, reporting, audit, payroll support, and compliance purposes.
AdMob-related information collected or processed by Google may be retained according to Google’s own policies, service terms, and applicable legal requirements. TRDP does not control all retention periods for data processed independently by third-party advertising services.
If you request deletion of your account, TRDP may delete or deactivate your access and certain profile data where appropriate. However, attendance records, leave records, audit logs, and other records that must be retained for organizational, legal, compliance, or administrative reasons may continue to be retained.
Account Deletion and User Requests
The App may allow users to submit an account deletion request from within the App. These requests are reviewed by authorized TRDP administrators.
Submission of a deletion request does not guarantee immediate deletion. Certain information may be retained where necessary for legal, administrative, HR, audit, payroll, or security purposes.
Users may also contact TRDP through official contact channels or the organization’s website for privacy-related requests.
Advertising preferences, including reset or deletion of the Advertising ID and ad personalization settings, may be managed through Android device settings or Google account/ad settings where available.
Notifications
The App may request permission to send notifications relating to attendance reminders, leave workflow updates, approval decisions, organizational notices, and security or system messages.
Disabling notifications may affect the delivery of important operational updates.
Security
TRDP uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App. These measures may include authenticated access controls, role-based permissions, device approval and binding mechanisms, controlled database access, server-generated timestamps, and audit logging.
Google Mobile Ads SDK data is expected to be transmitted using encryption in transit where provided by Google services. However, no method of electronic transmission, device storage, or internet-based processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Some requests may be limited where data must be retained for legal, administrative, HR, audit, payroll, or security reasons.
For advertising-related controls, users may reset or delete the Android Advertising ID where supported by their device, manage ad personalization settings in Google settings, and use device-level privacy controls where available.
International Processing
The App may use cloud-based infrastructure or service providers that process data on servers located outside your immediate region or country. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed through such infrastructure as needed to operate the service.
